Your Council
The Preston Parish Council is made up of representatives from the local community, who are keen to support the needs of the Village. Parish Councillors are unpaid and the role is varied but always challenging. Members are elected every 4 years and the Council consists of 13 Councillors, 10 Members representing Preston North Ward and 3 Members representing Preston South Ward. The Council also has a Proper Officer, the Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer of the Council, and a part-time General Works Operative.
Elections in May 2027, will reduce the number of parish councillors and Preston South will come under the Hedon boundary.
